(We have restored versions of this model jukebox, in stock, for sale for $3,300.00) Currently not working Super rare Seeburg / Stern SMC2 Phoenix 45 RPM Vinyl Jukebox From the Seeburg ” Disco ” series SMP1, SMP2 & SMP3 This was a wealthy mans jukebox he used to entertain family and guests in his basement. It quit working and sat still down there for the last five years. Seeburg goes bankrupt in 1979 and Stern Pinball buys them in 1980. This is the first juke they put out. Often called the “Sternburg”. A very unique jukebox. Only jukebox ever with a spinning mirrored ball. Stern gave up after producing this one model and sold Seeburg to the employees. Looks like it once had a dollar bill validator that has been removed and has now been blanked out. No dollar bill validator included. Upper right plastic that surrounds the blanked out bill accepter is cracked Lower woofer grill is rusted no keys but it is open No records Gas has escaped from the door lift shock absorbers so main door will not stay up unless propped up. Radio Shack woofers and tweeter were used to replace the factory speakers. From a house with cats. We do get good needle noise so amp sounds like it works. Very minor battery corrosion on the main computer record mechanism tracks, picks up but then immediately rejects record. Could be bad commands from the computer. New computers are available for sale on line. We can crate for a fee of $150.00 after the sale.
