Crafted circa 1950’s in Japan, this features the fictional character “Sam Weller” from “The Pickwick Papers”, Charles Dickens’s first novel. He is the character that made Charles Dickens famous. This piece is hand painted and incised on the bottom identifying him. The base is stamped. This measures 5″ High x 1 5/8″ Wide at the base.
