These universal lamps project a beautiful display that illuminates the entrance area when you open your door. Use the supplied hole saw bit to drill the underside of your vehicle’s door panel for installation. Wire up to an existing door panel light or exterior side view mirror for a quick install. Vehicles not equipped with these lights can utilize an existing constant 12v power and switching ground for proper on/off function with door. Please note: These lights do NOT replace original equipment courtesy lights. Important Notes: Drilling Required – A drill bit has been provided to drill the underside of your vehicle’s door panel for installation. Painted Film – This product uses a painted film for rich output but will fade over time. Recommended Run Time – Do not exceed 15 mins continuous runtime. This will cause film to be exposed to excessive heat. Lifted Vehicles/Semi Trucks – The higher the distance from ground will create a much larger output.
